The Pied Piper Music School was established in 1988, and currently enrolls over 150 students of all ages. We believe that music has the power to bring people together and enrich our lives. Join us and discover the joy of making music in a supportive and inclusive community.

We Offer lessons in the following instruments: Piano, Violine, Trumpet, Drums, Voice for all ages incluing Group Classes for beginners

Theodora Cottarel

An award-winning French American soprano acclaimed for her "electrifying" performances and "beauty of tone." Recently securing the Artistic Development Award with second prize in Seattle Opera Guild’s competition, she is poised to debut as Violetta in La Traviata in New York and as Elisetta in Il matrimonio secret by Cimarosa in Seattle in 2024. Théodora has graced renowned stages, including the Rome Philharmonic, Odyssey Opera, and Théâtre des Champs-Elysées.

Having studied with opera luminaries like Jennifer Larmore, Marilyn Horne, and Neil Rosenshein, Théodora is passionate about imparting her technical knowledge in a fun and encouraging manner. While classically trained, she embraces working in any style of music. Elevate your vocal journey with Théodora Cottarel, where expertise meets a joyful teaching approach.

Nobuko Hasegawa

Embark on a musical journey with Pianist Nobuko, a Japanese virtuoso. Discovering her profound connection with the piano at age 4, Nobuko is now a popular teacher and performer at weddings and festivals. Her exceptional talents have graced stages worldwide, collaborating with piano duos at renowned institutions like the Levine School of Music and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

Guided by luminaries such as Ms. Kazuko Yokoi and Dr. Robert Palmer, Nobuko holds master's degrees in Piano Performance and Accompanying/Chamber Music. Beyond her stage accomplishments, she passionately extends her artistry to teaching, welcoming students as young as 3. Katsutoshi Nakamura

Embarked on his journey with the violin at the age of 3. Following his high school graduation in Japan, he pursued a master’s degree at Schola Cantorum in Paris, France. Over a span of three years, he had the privilege of studying under Dr. Suzuki, the visionary behind the Suzuki method. This period afforded him numerous collaborations with renowned musicians on a global scale.

Upon relocating to Seattle, Mr. Nakamura enriched the local musical scene by contributing his talents to the North West Chamber Orchestra for the past three years.

Luke Doubravsky

With over 20 years of experience, is a versatile music teacher in classical and popular music, jazz, improvisation, and music theory. Recognized for his expertise in "Piano Improvisation" at Bellevue College and choir accompaniment, he was named one of the top five teachers in Seattle in 2011 by the "Best Piano Lessons in Seattle" blog.

As a Virtuoso Pianist and Conservatory Graduate at age fifteen, Luke adds refined excitement to weddings, private events, and fundraisers. His diverse portfolio includes collaborations with orchestras, bands, soloists, and solo performances in various settings.

Having performed on national and international stages, such as the Bellevue Hyatt, Seattle Columbia Tower Club, and Las Vegas Ritz, Luke's versatility spans swing, jazz, contemporary, popular, and all-American favorites. He shares, "Playing and teaching piano greatly enriches my life, and my greatest joy is letting others experience this art as well."

Sid Law

A seasoned musician, drum and guitar teacher, and the embodiment of a one-man band. Passionate about diverse instruments and styles, Sid excels as a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and vocalist. With extensive expertise, Sid prioritizes creativity, expression, and a profound grasp of rhythm and melody in his teaching. His performances traverse various genres, showcasing a captivating blend of artistry and technical skill.

Sid provides tailored lessons for beginners embarking on their musical journey and aspiring musicians refining their skills. His teaching philosophy centers on nurturing individual musical identities and instilling a deep love for music.
